What is Spiritual Humility?

Excerpt: c.s. lewis said, “When I set these questions before God, I get no answer. But a rather special sort of ‘no answer.’ like ‘Peace, Child, you don’t understand.’”
Can we hang out with that? Peace, Child. You don’t understand.
The peace of not knowing can be even greater than the peace of knowing. Because the peace of knowing depends on ourselves. The peace, the ease, of not knowing places ourselves in the hands of Spirit, the One Cause, the One Source, the Creator of all that is. The Knower of all that is!
What is Spiritual Humility?

Excerpt: On this Process of Letting Go: You don’t have to know exactly what it is. If you’re aware that some habit or limiting thought is holding you back, don’t get too caught up in analytics. Consider - if you’re off on a lovely hike with friends, and suddenly you feel something creepy crawly on the back of your neck, you wouldn’t say, “exactly what is it that’s crawling into my hairline?” You’d say, “Get it off me!” Same thing with a limiting thought. Don’t trouble yourself too much to know exactly what it is. God doesn’t require that. Just say to God, “Something’s holding me back. Whatever it is, I’m done! I let it go! Get it off me!”

Not a Spiritual Guy. God is all there is. The Omnipresence. But sometimes … that is a little more God than I want. Sometimes, I want a more intimate God.

You carry the world of possibilities with you, within you, wherever you go. ... There is an inner dialogue that may have been deposited in our subconscious mind from the time we were little children. And it keeps repeating and repeating the messages, and we just take it in. And it’s what we understand the world, or ourselves, to be. We may not actually be fluent in the language of our inner dialogue. We are not fully conscious of when or how we’re receiving the messages. And yet - that habitual voice conveys something to us.
But we don’t have to keep letting it.
In the quiet, the peace, and the focus of silent prayer and meditation, our Conscious Mind and Unconscious Mind come together. And we are aware of the Light of Truth by which we see through, beyond, and around any illusions of lack, limitation, and fear. And we know our True Limitless Selves.
